Combat Mechanics
Every character starts out with
Stamina 3/3
Mana 3/3
And base melee damage of 5%
To dodge a skill, you may spend your stamina. 1 stamina = 100% of your soul.
If person 1 uses an attack for 1,000 damage, and your Soul is 1000, you can spend a stamina and avoid it entirely.
If person 1 uses an attack for 1,000 damage and your Soul is 900, you can spend a stamina and partially avoid it but it will count as a block and you will receive that 10% you could not avoid.
If person 1 uses an attack for 1,000 damage, and your Soul is 135% of theirs (1,350 in this case) you can spend a stamina and counter the attack for free with a PHY/SP depending on the amount of stamina you spent. So 1 for a tier one, 2 for a tier two, and 3 for a tier 3.
